Sleep paralysis is not fun, nor is it something to do just for the sake of “lucid dreaming”. Sleep paralysis often include being unable to breath and uncontrolled hallucinations. Why are you using a stressed induced side effect like this?

i have lucid dreams pretty frequently and this method works but yeah it’s not very pleasant to go through :/

there’s plenty of other, less stressful ways to achieve lucidity

There are 2 main ways to lucid dream, MILD and WILD methods. People who do it all the time highly advise against using WILD due to how scary it is. This right here is WILD.

MILD method is doing things like taking dream diaries all the time and checking whether you’re dreaming or not in the middle of the day so you are more likely to recognize you are dreaming once you’re already asleep. You just go to sleep like normal. Maybe it’s not as fast as WILD, but no way am I trying WILD anytime soon.

Last year, at Sakuracon, I shared a hotel room with Zetallis, and she told me that her friend might not be able to make it because she was undergoing dialysis - where they take your blood, clean if for you, and put it back in.  That friend was Neolucky.
